Soo Line #1003 2-8-2 Mikado ran a caboose hop from Hartford, WI to Whitewater, WI to help celebrate the 100th anniversary of Whitwater's "Homecoming Festival"
This restored Milwaukee Road ribside caboose is used by the Soo #1003 group to pull behind the #1003 on steam excursions. It was recently completed and when not running it sits at Wisconsin Auto Musuem in Hartford, WI
