The old California Zephyr dome "Silver Solarium" trails on the rear end of a SP 2472 steam special in December of 2002. The dome observation looked great with the matching train of stainless steel coaches as they roll past Bayshore, California.
Via 692 in the month of October has the Park Dome on its run to Churchill. Here it is on Mile 32 Togo Subdivision moving East to crew change at Dauphin,
Manitoba. The Dome car was on it's way North again on 693 at 01:25 on Friday, October 17, 2008.
The Grand Canyon Railroad daily train has just unloaded its happy passengers following its return from the Grand Canyon, Tuesday evening, August 28, 2007. The dome car on the left is GCR #7034 "Grand View" and the dome on the right is GCR 2097 "Kokopelli."
