    A set of ex-Chicago & Northwestern gallery cars pull up to the San Antonio stop in Mountain View, California in June of 2001. These old C&NW gallery cars pinch hit for CalTrain's own coaches. CalTrain's gallery cars were being rebuilt by Alstom during that year.

    UP #4843 leads the Z-PDCS (Expedited Trailers - Portland, Ore. to Canal St. [Chicago, IL]) just west of Arlington, Ore. Power was the UP #4843 and 3 other SD70M's for power.. After leaving CP Biggs Jct., 4843 was running about 70-ish mph. At Arlington, we were finally ahead of this train.

    A pleasant surprise from the east, heading west through the gorge. This one came out very high in the mids and almost too saturated. Odd. Fought it in editing. Desaturated and lightened. Thoughts? Lighten it more? Add contrast back in? (lowered it)
