Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey circus train came through Castle Rock, CO on June 9, 2008 en route to Colorado Springs, CO for performances. What a surprise to see many of the performers in the vestibules, including this lady looking out.
CSXT Southbound Freight Train Q595 is about to end its journey at CSXT'S Boyles Terminal in Tarrant City, Al. from Avon Yard in Indianapolis, In. The location is between New Castle, Al. & Black Creek, Al. at Milepost 000382
View off of the bridge facing west toward Munroe Falls, Ohio. The siding to the limestone company is the third track to the left. The middle track is currently closed for maintenance 2 1/2 miles east of here.
This is one of my childhood b&wh photographs taken around c.1959 at Bristol Temple Meads Station. It depicts "Castle Class" 4-6-0 at the head of the "Cornishman Express"...."oh, those WERE the days!"
