Strings of well cars stretch out across the CP Tyvan Subdivision from Stoughton Sk to Creelman Sk. Railroads are a good indicator if the economy is on the rise or fall and this photo says it all.
A new steam train will be on rails next month here in Minas Gerais state. It will use the old EFCB abandonned line in Rio Acima, MG. The locomotive is a Oretein & Koppel 0-6-0.
A set of ex-Chicago & Northwestern gallery cars pull up to the San Antonio stop in Mountain View, California in June of 2001. These old C&NW gallery cars pinch hit for CalTrain's own coaches. CalTrain's gallery cars were being rebuilt by Alstom during that year.
Here the Portland & Western Railroad Hillsboro Job towards Seghers Mill on the ex-SP trackage to switch out some empty woodchip cars for some loaded ones and a few loaded centerbeams. Seems like they do this job now with just one unit and run long hood forward 1/2 of the time.

#18 is sitting just idling underneath an overpass in downtown Hood River while waiting for all the passengers to board before a 10am departure on a crisp and cool saturday morning..
#18 is giving this bridge on the Mt. Hood Railroad a good dose of thick black oily smoke as it pushes the passenger train up towards its final destination of Odell, Ore.
With two of my friends, we ended up chasing Fleming Locomotive Works #18 as it crosses the river on the Mt. Hood Railroad towards the station sign "Switchback". The steamer sounded awesome!!
