    Amtrak Cascades Train #506 races north after crossing over from Main #1 to Main #2 at MP 111 crossovers. The train is about 10-12 minutes away from it's next stop at Kelso, Washington. The sun just happened to show when the train was coming into view, so I converted it into black & white.

    A Black Mesa & Lake Powell train rolls west with a coal train in the late afternoon with several E60's and E60C's on the front. This isolated 78 mile railroad is situated in northern Arizona for the purpose of hauling coal from a mine to a power plant.
