That 1419 and 1410 should be grey sooner or later. The TFM looks as perfect as the KCS does in the grey paint.

Does KCS have a hot box detector or dragging equipment dectors down there in Alabama?

CzechTex is right. KCS purchased 25 rebuilt new SD50's built by VMV and released from CSX and CR. The road numbers run from 7000-7024 on the KCS system. KCS will be getting new SD70ACE's sometime in the fall.

The red hand wheels are irresistable to me! KCS looks good with them but could've been even better looking with the nose lights they all used to have back in the 80's to the early 2000's.
