    Rain Squall

    While switching at CBC on the Meeker Southern last week rain was steadily falling all day. During the switching I clicked a photo of the rain soaked ground and cars. About 22 seconds later the heavens opened for about 5 minutes of pure hellish rain. Made for a interesting weather shift.

    A busy day of switching and sorting cars at Meeker made for the impressive size train of emptys. 12 in all with a caboose on the rear carrying the brakeman while its conductor clicks a picture.

    Do not park on or near the RR tracks.

    While student engineering in Ballard we encounter a van parked to close to the tracks in perfect of a sign stating not to park on or near the tracks. Also a interesting note the building the sign is on also owns the van parked near the tracks.
