Starlight with "rocketship"
Amtrak's "Coast Starlight" heads southbound between Soledad and King City, California on the Coast Line in April of 2002. The train has drawn an Amtrak-California F59PHI or "rocketship" as named by the train crews for its styling.
I've always enjoyed the Starlight for its often unique motive power. I see another F59 tucked in behind there too. They must've been headed to LA for maintenance. When I rode the Starlight back in 2001, the consist was F59/P42/F40PH.
