CN 346 goes to Chicago with among others, Savage Alberta Railway 8606.
I thought it was a great exposure, thank you. You got lucky with the light. wish I was there.

I would like clarification about SAR 8606. SAR could mean something to do with South African Railway, or possible something to with Saskatchewan. Us old guys need help. Thanks.
 
The SAR I speak of is that of the now defunct Savage Alberta Railway. Like most all other Alberta shortlines, the CN now owns it. The 8606 looked to be of NS heritage, and apparently, this was it's last run. I'm glad you like the photo.
