Rebuild SP GP35 vs. SCR GP38-2. Note the small tanks on the former Sydney Coal unit - they are mostly a terminal switching road nowdays, hence no need for a large fuel tank. Since my last Maritime trip in May, New Brunswick Southern has taken delivery of four ex-UP GP38s from HATX. More power is needed now that Irving is running former MMA trackage in Northern Maine as the Maine Northern Railway. NBSR also has two ex-QNSL GP9s and two ex-PC SW1200s for yard duty in addition to three ex-CN coaches for charity excursions.
