My First B&W

My first attempt of a black and white photo is UP train IPDSE about to pass under an overpass in Kelso, WA.
A good shot. Just a bit over exposed out in the sunlight. I'd like to see just a little more definition, especially on the left side of the photo. The rails in the foreground, for example washout as they leave the shadow. Also a little burning on the roof of the shed would help tone the sunlight portion of the shot down a little. If I made that print in the darkroom, I'd probably toss it and try again in order to get the sunny portion of the shot to pop a little more.

Remember, if it wasn't a good shot, it wouldn't be worth commenting.

I saw that train down by MP 108.5 by Kalama... Anyways, I always love the SD40-2's on the point..
