For decades these engines roamed New Jersey, now the AMTRAK and NJT cowls are working for AMT.

Two days earlier I drove thorough New Jersey en route to Pennsylvania, not seeing a single train. I didnt bother to railfan the NJT knowing that Ill see them in Montreal. Maybe next time Im in the big Apple Ill shoot some real New Jersey Transit action.
