Head'n for Summit

UP 2475 is on the helper end of a WB manifest as it approaches Cajon Summit. The western/southern slope of the the pass is socked with clouds (aka June Gloom).

Seems like a lot of power for a small train.

There were quite a lot of rock and cement hoppers at the front of the train. This is the same train that is in the picture of UP 4449. The helpers were gone when the train started down the pass. Last week I caught a short UP manifest with nine locomotives leading it down, and all were on line.
