Thanks m3rdrail, I'm thinking it was around 1991. I can say this for sure, it wasn't long after Trains Magazine made a Hot Spot Article on Waycross, Ga. I always made it a point to go to whatever hot spot Trains ever did & usually right after I found out what hot spot they were going to do I would always try to be there with that issue in hand filming trains & studying the hot spot article Trains Magazine did on that place I went to. I miss the Hot Spot & On Location articles Trains used to do. I don't care that much for Trains Magazine anymore, but I do still get it every month whether I want the issue or not. It's hard for me to break old habits. I've been getting Trains Magazine now since 1989. I like CTC Board, Railpace, Diesel Era, Extra 2200 South & TRP the best now.
