Although I do not condone graffiti tagging, when full car art work such as that on BNFE 19295 appears, I can definitely say it adds color to the typically mundane rail yard.
First spotted (above) rolling down the Pasco hump on the evening of March 20, 2009, it reappeared April 6th.
Someone spent a lot of money on paint -- unless they stole it. Nice colors, but that thing is an eyesore.
 
I agree that it is sad to see graffiti on almost every fright car in a typical train nowadays, but the full car artwork is kinda neat to see. I remember seeing somewhere on the 'net about 5 or 6 years ago a tanker with a very well done wildlife scene on it.... Although, it does make me wonder how when a railfan comes to photograph something, we get chased out fairly quickly, but someone has been left alone long enough to do this to a frieght car. I guess we need to ditch the cameras for spray paint cans.....:smile:
