Mainline Freight on the Peninsula

An especially lengthy South City Switcher puts on the appearance of a mainline freight as it roars up the Caltrain mainline at Bayshore at 50 mph with 5 engines and 30 cars.

Well, then we must've seen the same train, because this the the only freight train that runs up in these parts. I did see another photographer out today that might've been you - if you're an older gentleman who wears a tan colored jacket and fishing hat =).
 
On March 6 I took some picks of the SSF Switcher from Jerrold St. in The City. I coulda had on my tan jacket and my tan "Beagle" hat... but I'm not that old.
