This coach was bought back from VIA, hence the blue paint. I think CN has 3-4 such sets.

Better looking then CP's TEST set IMHO.

Thanks for sharing! My Dad and I went to see that car on CN 340 on night over 10 Years ago.

These cars were built in 1954 by Pullman for CN. They only had a handfull. They were a 5 compartment lounge buffet car. Named in the "Cape" series. They were a very nice car. The Florida Gulf Coast Museum recently had an ex CN/VIA car for sale on railswap. All these cars went to Via and a few were bought back by CN. The car Tawa was one particular car that CN has altered and placed in there executive fleet. It has been painted in the Green livery. This photo concerns me for the fate of this particular car, it is noted that the CN noodle and Test Car markings have been removed??? I hope this will not suffer a fate at the scap yard. I have more details on these cars if interested.

Last I heard it was at a deadline in Woodchrest, IL. I started a thread about it on the forums: http://www.railroadforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=10502&highlight=test CN had it for sale, but no one was intersted. I'll repost this photo's bigger 1024x768 version when I gwt around to upgrading it and my gallery.
