Here are the 'Pemberton Pushers' assisting the 3902 south at Green River. It has been some time since solid sets of SD40-2's worked the pushers. Now one will find a GE-SD40-2-GE combo.
This particular consist lasted just over a week and I do not know of anytime since that there has been a solid set of SD40's working this job.
Notice the 764 in the 'hockey stick' scheme (typical Canadian nickname, eh?).

Great Shot. Nice to see that solid set of SD's . The way things are now any mid train units may be a novelty in the future. I can't see CN getting into the maned pusher business, if in fact the line even stays intact.

Glad I could share these pics - though I see I scanned this one crooked...oops. After CN takes control, and given the expense of operating the helpers (crews, fuel, etc) I bet it won't be long before tonnage is gradually diverted eastward from PG to existing CN lines. I guess it's get 'em while you can.
