The CP Rail Subdivision is having it's ties being
replaced with brand new wooden ties and crossing
being upgraded. here is the biggest tamping machine on this tie gang which is on the Bredenbury Subdivision East of Shoal Lake, Manitoba. This machine is a DYNA-CAT which is a heavy-duty, high speed continuous action switch and production track tamping machine with an intergarter track stabiliser. The tie gang had a 8 hour block on the sub.
