This skit was released in Holland as 'The new engine driver'. . I added myself a sound track. One viewer (se below) hinted that these were The Century Comedy Kids, possibly in their skit 'Speed boys' released in 1924. Another helpful viewer commented that this were rare scenes of the Venice Miniature Rail Road (VMRR). Drina Mohacsi commented: Black kid is "Bubbles" James Berry who was signed to star in century comedies c1924. Fat kid is Tommy Hicks, Girl is Josephine Adair, Arthur Trimble in Overalls, and Spec O'Donnell (Freckled face kid). I had added the credits for Tommy & Josephine to IMDB. Buddy Messinger had done comedies for Century & with James Berry as well, but it looks like they swapped him out on this one for Tommy Hicks.

I noticed the sign "Venice" over a street and "VMRR" on the cab of the locomotive.
Fun to see this old Comedy Kids film after such a long time
